More new jobs to be created by wood processing company Ukaj

On December 21st 2017, EMPOWER Private Sector in partnership with Sida – Styrelsen för Internationellt Utvecklingssamarbetesigned signed a grant with Ukaj to support the company to upgrade its existing production capacities. The grant will also enable Ukaj to introduce a new product range in its factory which will lead to 39 new jobs.

Ukaj is a very well-known company in Kosovo for doors and kitchen cabinet production with a showroom in Pejë. Furthermore, the company has reached European markers through the exhibition of its products at two showrooms in Switzerland and one in Germany.
