Technical Committee for Wood Processing (KT-9)

On 15.05.2024, at the Kosovo Agency for Standardization, the meeting of the Technical Committee for Wood Processing was held, directed by the Chairman of KT.PD, Mr. Agron Bajraktari and Secretary Zijadin Ismajli.
The main purpose of this meeting was the review of 11 European standards in the Wood Processing sector. The identification of the standards was made by the requests of the interested parties and by AKS referring to the newest standards from CEN/CENELEC and ISO, to be adopted as Kosovar standards with the design of the first page in the Albanian language, without modifying the the text. The discussions of the participants in the meeting were also focused on increasing the awareness of all interested parties for the implementation of standards, their implementation in the Wood Processing sector, increasing the number of standards implemented by entities operating in Wood Processing, etc. .
